Micro-credit Programme; Formation of Women’s Self-Help Groups & Bank Linkage- Courtesy, NABARD
Income Generation Programme - Providing Skill Development Programs
Awareness & Motivation camps – average 15 camps held every month
Periodic Blood Donation Camps organized to feed the local hospitals, such as, Krishnagar Sadar Hospital, Ranaghat Sub-divisional Hospital, Kalyani Gandhi Memorial Hospital and Kalyani Jahar Lal Nehru Hospital etc.
Promotion of Sustainable and organic methods of Agriculture & Horticulture
Disaster Management
Rural Sanitation & All Weather Village Link Road (No of Sanitary Latrines Constructed in Project Area: 1000. Village Link Road constructed in Project Area: 13 km, Courtesy, CAPART, New Delhi & Ushagram Association, Geneva)
Pond Excavation & Pisciculture - 4 nos at village Bhaduri. 2 ponds are maintained by 2 local youth Clubs and other 2 ponds are maintained by 2 women self-help groups in Bhaduri village
Organizing Yoga and Bratachari Camps – at least 2 camps /year
Provision for safe drinking water (No. of tube well sunk and functioning: 52 Courtesy, C.I. & AID, USA, Ushagram Association, Geneva)

Our Different Awereness Programmes

Agriculture & Dairy farming

Agriculture remains the mainstay of activities in Rural Bengal. Therefore Ushagram believes that agriculture should form a major plank of its activities and engage in all forms of agriculture like horticulture, floriculture, pisciculture. Other activities like solar energy, rainwater harvesting are also occupying the attention of Ushagram.

We share our experimental knowledge with local farmers by way of organic farming, vermicomposting, leaf composting, Gabor Gas, plants for demonstration as a source of alternative energy. A Bio Farming demonstration plant involving about 40 farmers without using pesticides and chemical fertilizers, which is slowly taking shape.

Bio Diversity and Solar Plant

Students of High school of our locality have the opportunity to acquire knowledge regarding the Biodiversity of our locality. the center also preserving 25 types of lost species of rice formerly cultivated in our areas.
